Westminster Park

Location

Westminster Park is a rather large district located in the southeast corner of London, Ontario! Residents have lived in this area since the first developments began in the 1960’s. Its boundary lines go from Commissioners Road East to Bradley Ave and from Wellington to the train tracks by Pond Mills Road. This location is prime as it falls in the same area as one of the largest commercial shopping districts in the city – White Oaks. Although far away from the city centre, residents enjoy living in proximity to every amenity they may need, as well as easy access to major arteries of the city. This area is home to several LTC bus stops – ensuring residents can always get to where they need to go!

Neighborhood

Potential buyers will see mostly single-detached homes, townhouses and duplexes within Westminster Park. The developments began in the 1960’s through to the 1970’s. Because of the maturity of the neighbourhood, a benefit to living here is the lush greenery surrounding most of the lots. Single detached, semi-detached housing in the $200k – $300k range are available in this neighbourhood. The average list price in this area is in the low to mid $300,000s. Westminster Park is a great place to raise a family. The Westminster Working Group is a team of people who reside in the neighbourhood. Together, they have devised an action plan to improve the neighbourhood in four areas: urban planning, public safety, active transportation and accessibility and availability of food and physical activity opportunities. Setting these plans in motion provides families with a sense of safety and a larger sense of community.
