Uplands

Location

Welcome to Uplands! A premier neighbourhood tucked in the northeast end of London, Ontario. Located just shy of the outskirts of the city, this area is highly regarded by Londoners. The border of this neighborhoods go from Adelaide Street to the Uplands Trails and from Sunningdale to Virginia Park. Residents benefit from quick access to every amenity they may need in the bustling north end of the Forest City. Walk down to the local Starbucks with your dog on a hot summer day, or load up the kids in the van and take them on a family shopping trip to Masonville Mall – the largest shopping district in the city.

Neighborhood

London is continuously expanding with new developments underway at the edges of the city. The north end, in particular, has seen a ton of progress in recent years and it will only continue to grow. Due to expansion, not all the subdivisions in Uplands are complete. The north end of the neighbourhood is currently underway.

The majority of houses – which are single detached – began development in the 1990’s through to the 2000’s. Potential buyers will see townhouses, condos and a variety of housing in different price ranges. The average list price of homes in this neighborhood is in the low to mid $600,000s, making this a more expensive area of London. Some subdivisions are older with larger lots and different styles such as four bedroom side splits and three bedroom executive ranches. There are also newer townhouses and condominiums available in the area.

There are a few schooling options for elementary and secondary students in this neighborhood. While none of the schools fall directly within Uplands, Jack Chambers is right outside of it and is within walking distance for most of the families.
