Stoney Creek

Location

Stoney Creek is a large northeast London, Ontario suburban neighbourhood. The location itself, while far from the Downtown core, is a prime area to purchase a home. London has been making major developments through the years, continuously expanding the north end. This makes real estate on the edges of town a premiere spot to invest. Stoney Creek is nestled in the north, with boundaries just east of Adelaide Street to Highbury Avenue between Medway Road and Fanshawe Park Road. Residents who live in Stoney Creek have access to fantastic schooling, amenities and green spaces. The subdivisions scattered throughout this suburban neighbourhood provide a safe and comfortable place for families to call home.

Neighborhood

Development in the Stoney Creek area first began in the 1970’s. With developments underway as recently as 2017, this is a neighbourhood that expands with the city. Single-family homes, townhouses and apartment buildings comprise the bulk of properties in this area. The south end of Stoney Creek saw these developments starting in the 1970’s while the north end is currently under development. Buyers will notice a variety of single-family homes in this area.
