Soho

Location

SoHo (formerly St. David’s Ward) is a historic neighbourhood centrally located in London, Ontario. Its name pays homage to its location – south of Horton. The exact boundaries lay at the CN railroad tracks just north of Horton Street, to the east on Adelaide Street and the Thames River makes up the south and west borders. Home to nine LTC bus stops and within walking distance of Downtown, this is a highly accessible location to live. There are plenty of amenities such as local businesses and restaurants to ensure residents in this area have access to all necessities. Affordable housing meets accessibility and rich character for the residents of SoHo. 

Neighborhood

Citi Plaza, Central Library, YMCA, Goodlife Fitness, Victoria Park, Covent Garden Market, Budweiser Gardens and Rainbow Cinemas are all within reach of the neighbourhood. In addition to this, there are many local businesses and shops within the area including six local bakeries and delis. 

Residents can head down Wellington Street for more close by amenities, such as consignment stores, LCBO, Pizza stores, restaurants, Staples, banks, dollar stores, Metro, pet food store, variety store, Canada Post, Shoppers Drug Mart, and more. 

For incredible entertainment, this neighborhood boasts plenty. Factoring in the proximity to downtown, nightlife is always a great possibility. On top of that, BATL, which is an axe throwing facility, is in this neighborhood. Kids will love the fact that the Boys and Girls Club of London also falls within the neighborhood. The SoHo Bar and Grill is a great place to enjoy drinks in SoHo as well. The London Convention Centre is close by and is a great place to catch amazing events throughout the year. 

SoHo residents have quick and easy access to different green spaces. These include Thames Valley Parkway Trail, Hill Street Park, Harrison Street Park and Meredith Park. Together, these areas offer accessible tennis and basketball courts, outdoor wading pool, playgrounds and bike paths.
