Location
Pond Mills is a southeast London, Ontario neighbourhood. Its main intersection is Pond Mills Road and Commissioners Road East. This area is close to the 401 Highway and many main streets, easily connecting drivers and residents to the rest of the city. There are also plenty of LTC bus stops throughout the area. The location of this neighbourhood is relatively far from the city centre but close to some main shopping and dining. Because of this, residents enjoy their privacy but benefit from essential amenities just a short drive away.

Single detached homes from the 1970’s and 1980’s, apartment buildings and townhouses are among the properties available in Pond Mills. Due to the maturity and location of this area, the streets are lush, and green space is abundant. Pond Mills is regarded as a great area to raise a family with large lots with varying prices, many houses with swimming pools, ranches, side splits, there are even waterfront properties available in this neighbourhood!
Pond Mills is situated near the outskirts of London, meaning green spaces and ponds are abundant. There are a ton of spectacular meadows, lily woods, wetlands and forest lands that lie beyond the southeast end of the neighbourhood.
Schools
There are plenty of great schools that cover this district, including Public, Catholic, and French Immersion. While none of the schools fall directly within the boundaries of this neighborhood, plenty are close enough to be within walking distance for many of the families: Glen Cairn Public School, Arthur Stringer Public School, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School.

While most of the amenities are not located directly within Pond Mills, this neighbourhood is close by to many necessities and essentials. Down Commissioners Road there is a Shoppers Drug Mart, banks, convenience stores, London Public Library, Dollarama, Food Basics, gas station, thrift store, Fireside Grill and Bar, as well as some fast food restaurants.
Down the street at Wellington and Commissioners there is Victoria Hospital and a ton of great shopping, essentials, and restaurants. For groceries there is Metro and Freshco. For essentials there is Fitness Avenue, banks, gas stations, Canada Post, a walk in clinic, Rogers, Dollarama, pet food store, dry cleaners, and a variety store. For delicious places to eat, this plaza has Montanas, South St. Burger, Starbucks, McDonalds, Pizza Pizza, Cora Breakfast and Lunch, and the Mandarin.
Pond Mills is just a seven-minute drive away from one of the largest shopping centres in the city – White Oaks Mall. Here, residents can easily access Walmart, LCBO, The Beer Store, Mcdonald’s, Canadian Tire, The Keg Steakhouse & Bar and many, many more!
For green spaces and parks, there are plenty close by! Southeast Optimist Park has baseball diamonds, a small basketball court, playground, spray pad, and washrooms. The Westminster Ponds is an Environmentally Significant Area with stunning trails and beautiful wildlife to see. Meadowlily Woods Trail is also close by and is a great place for a family hike. Heritage Park has a small basketball court, soccer field, green space, swings and a playground.
