Location
Lockwood Park is a mature neighbourhood in the south end of London, Ontario. It falls within the borders of Commissioners Road East, Wellington Road South, Upper Queen Street and Southdale Road East. Lockwood Park is situated only ten minutes from downtown. With easy access to a ton of green space, all essential amenities and the city at large, Lockwood Park is an excellent location for a diverse range of buyers.
Neighborhood
Most properties in the neighbourhood date back to the sixties and seventies. The houses here include single detached homes, large apartment buildings and an array of townhouses. The plaza at Wellington Road South and Commissioners Road East has a Metro for grocery shopping, Mandarin Restaurant, East Side Mario’s, Dollarama, Mr. Lube, H&R Block, McDonald’s, Tim Horton’s, Starbucks etc. A five-minute drive south down Wellington Road to White Oaks Mall gives residents access to one of the largest shopping districts in London. Here, there are amenities, entertainment and dining for the entire family. These include, but are not limited to, Landmark Cinemas 8, Earl’s, Indigo, MEC London, H&M, LUSH, Wal Mart, Sport Chek, Justice, The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, Red Lobster, 168 Sushi Asian Buffet Bar and many more.
